Humpbacks, Orcas, Porpoises, and more! Experience Juneau’s marine wildlife on this exclusive Private Whale Watching tour. You’ll sail through inside passage waters on the hunt for humpbacks & look to the shores for other elusive wildlife! Ranked among the best whale watching Juneau Alaska has to offer, this experience kicks off with pick up right from the cruise docks and transportation to scenic Andrew’s Marina at Fisherman’s Bay. Keep an eye out for eagles & more along the way! Once you reach the ship, you’ll set off with your captain and naturalist for 3 hours of exploration, making the Private Whale Watching tour the longest whale watching experience we offer in Juneau. Your guides have been searching these waters for humpbacks for nearly 2 decades, so follow their lead and you’re bound to see something that will amaze. As a bonus, with an open deck & binoculars provided, you’ll have stunning uninterrupted views of whatever animals you encounter.

Midway through your Inside Passage exploration, you’ll have the opportunity to disembark the vessel and stretch out your legs. Your captain will find you a remote beach landing. Something you won’t find on any of the other tours for whale watching Juneau Alaska offers. Here, your naturalist will come ashore with you for a short beach exploration. You never know what treasures you will find on any of these isolated islands in the Juneau Channel Island State Marine Park. Your guide is well versed in intertidal knowledge as well as the flora and fauna of this area. You’ll then have the chance to munch on a refreshing snack as you continue the whale watching portion of your aptly named Private Whale Watching tour. Keep an eye out for tales & spray as you scour the horizon for any signs of humpbacks. Also, feel free to ask your guide any questions along the way! They’re here to answer all your questions about the whale watching Juneau Alaska is famous for. Finally, after 3 hours on the water, and plenty of wildlife, you’ll head back to Andrew’s Marina to finish out your tour.
