With a guide leading the way, your pod of 4 four-passenger Zodiacs will cruise out into Ketchikan Harbor exploring remote inlets, tidal pools rich in fascinating marine life, and uninhabited islands clad in dense forest, even as magnificent eagles soar overhead! There are several stopping points along the way to admire the magnificent scenery and wildlife (maybe even whales!), to take photos, and to give anyone over the age of 25 a chance to take the wheel. The small, maneuverable boats make it possible to get close-in to shore for close-up views of seals and other wildlife. As with most tours in Ketchikan, all transportation is included in the expedition, with pick-up close to the cruise docks in downtown followed by a short transfer to Clover Pass for the Zodiac Boat Adventure. Here, you’ll be fitted with all the necessary gear to stay warm and dry out on the water, including rain gear, boots, face masks, gloves, PFDs, dry bags for your personal items, and safety glasses. Then it’s into the four Zodiacs for a full-throttle Alaskan outdoor experience like no other!

Your guides will pick you up from downtown Ketchikan, near the cruise docks, or Ward Cove if your cruise ship is docking there, before heading North to Clover Pass.
Suit up with a skiff suit, dry bags, boots, socks, gloves and life jacket, before heading to the boats and learning how to operate the vessels from your lead guides.
Now it's time for the fun part! Enjoy a trip around Betton Island as you follow your lead guide, driving your own 4 person zodiac, and keeping an eye out for marine life.
After docking, remove the provided gear and take a minute to use the facilities before loading up in the vans.
At the end of the tour, your guides will drop you back at your cruise docks! If you are docking in downtown, you can use this time to check out Ketchikan's historic downtown, or simply hop back on your ship.
