Your Gold Panning & Salmon Bake will begin with a historic, narrated tour of Juneau, on your way to Gold Creek. Once there, your prospector, in full Alaskan character, will show you the ropes along the shore before setting you lose to strike gold of your own in the aptly named Gold Creek. There are seated and standing options, so the whole family can enjoy this portion of one of the best excursions in Juneau. From here head on over to your all-you-can-eat Alaskan feast, featuring foods ranging from salmon to chicken to delicious blueberry cake. You are sure to leave this tour with a full belly! What should we wear and bring?
This tour operates rain or shine, and rain is common as we lie in a temperate rainforest! For comfort, we typically recommend long pants, closed-toed shoes, gloves, an extra pair of socks, warm layers and a waterproof jacket. Some guests choose to bring a small bag or backpack along to store extra layers, a bottle of water and cameras.
What if our ship is delayed or doesn't make it into port. Refund?
It's very rare that a ship is delayed into port, but in those cases, we will try our best to work with you to reschedule the tour to a later time. If that is not a possibility or your ship doesn't make it into port, we will refund you.

Cancel up to 14-days before the tour for a refund. No refund is available if canceled within 14-days of the tour.
