Description

When searching for tours in Ketchikan, you probably come across 2 immediate ideas: the Ketchikan Lumberjack show and the crab feast. Well, why not a tour that combines both of these unforgettable and quintessentially Alaskan tours into one: the aptly named Lumberjack Show & Crab Feast. Experience the history and excitement that have made the Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show one of the longest-running and most famous Alaskan tours, before heading over to see what all the hype about “fresh caught” Alaskan crab is. This one of a kind Alaskan tour will wow you with the feats and history of the lumberjacks who settled the area and leave you with a full, satisfied belly for the trip back to your cruise ship.

The Lumberjack Show & Crab Feast begins just a short distance from your cruise docks with the Ketchikan Lumberjack Show. Here, you will see Alaskan lumberjacks battle it out with the best of British Columbia’s woodsmen for the elite title of “Bull of the Woods.” With events like log rolling, sawing, wood chopping, ax throwing, and tree climbing, there is sure to be something that will thrill you as you look on. A colorful narrative will follow along from the host, including lumberjacks stories from history to myth. After you’ve feasted your eyes on the excitement of the lumberjacks, prepare to actually feast on the all-you-can-eat crab extravaganza. A scenic ride where you will want to have your cameras at the ready will lead you from the Ketchikan lumberjack show to the George Inlet Lodge, where in addition to fresh Alaskan crab, you will also have the opportunity to delight in a fresh salad, smooth cheesecake, and an assortment of beverages. The Ketchikan Lumberjack Show & Crab Feast is a true Alaskan experience you won’t want to miss!
