You must be able to walk 3.5 miles round trip to enjoy this tour. The trail is mostly flat after the initial stairs. However, there is some elevation gain and it is unpaved so you can expect it to be moderately strenuous. 

Do we stop for food?

No meals are included, so it's best to bring snacks if needed.

What should I wear?

Dress in layers. Bring a jacket, hiking boots, and rain gear to stay comfortable in Alaska's changing weather.

Is this tour suitable for children?

Yes, but we recommend that families with children under 8 book a private tour to better accommodate your pace. Children under 8 must also be in a car seat so be sure to request one at the time of booking. There are a limited number available.
