What should I wear while out on this tour?
Waterproof bibs, rain jackets, gloves, and boots are provided for you on the day of the tour. Warm clothing that you would bring with you on a day hike is always recommended. Synthetic, quick-dry fabrics are going to be best over cotton layers.
Will I see wildlife while out on the fast boats?
While wildlife sightings are never guaranteed, they are always a thrill! There is always a chance that you can see whales, bears, seals, eagles, otters, and more that call this area of Alaska home.
Will the tour still run in the rain?
Ketchikan is in the heart of a temperate rainforest, and we would never do anything if we stopped for the rain. Please do not let the possibility of rain deter you from booking. Southeast Alaska is at its most beautiful on misty rainy days.

Your guides will pick you up from your cruise dock for transfer to the north end of Ketchikan where your tour will take place.
When you reach the marina, your guides will outfit you in your gear and boats before running through a safety briefing and instructions.
