A knowledgeable guide will guide you to the most captivating spots, while telling you all about this town’s history along the way. Don't miss the chance to try your hand at gold panning during this top Skagway shore excursion!

Start your adventure by meeting your guide at the downtown e-bike shop, conveniently located just a short stroll from the cruise ship terminal. Here, receive thorough instructions on riding your e-bike with confidence–no worries if it's your first time. Helmets and visibility vests are also provided for your safety. Following the orientation, set out on your Skagway shore excursion alongside your guide and a small group, heading towards the historic waterfront. Your initial stop is Centennial Park, serving as an unofficial entrance to the Skagway Historic District. Delve into tales of Skagway's origins and the Gold Rush Era as you enjoy views of the iconic White Pass vintage locomotive and rotary snowplow – be sure to capture the moment with your camera! Proceed down Broadway Street, where your guide narrates the history of turn-of-the-century structures, including the Arctic Brotherhood Hall, The Golden North Hotel, and the White Pass Train Depot.

The journey continues with a gold panning experience, offering you the chance to bring home an authentic piece of Alaska. Afterward, resume your e-bike ride for a 10-minute journey to the Gold Rush Cemetery, where you can explore Lower Reid Falls hidden behind the graveyard. Next, a 15-minute e-bike ride takes you to the City Overlook, providing breathtaking views of downtown Skagway and the Lynn Canal. Conclude your excursion by returning to the starting point with your guide.
