Like all our Ketchikan shore tours, this 3-hour and 45-minute adventure begins with convenient pick-up near the cruise docks, where you’ll be met by your friendly guide. While your knowledgeable leader heads up the pack on your Mahoney Lake UTV Offroad Safari through the lush temperate rainforest, there will be plenty of stops to learn more about the fascinating ecology and history of the area, including tales of Ward Cove Pulp Mill. You’ll pass views of the George Inlet Fjords & other stunning vistas on your exhilarating journey to the lake. A highlight of the Mahoney Lake UTV Offroad Safari tour is a stopover at a backcountry campsite to sit around the glowing coals of a campfire. Here, you’ll enjoy smokin’ reindeer link served on a warm bun and a cup of simmering chili. Don’t forget to leave room for a mug of hot chocolate or coffee, along with a freshly baked treat for dessert. The tour concludes back at the cruise docks, with plenty of time left in the day to explore historic downtown Ketchikan on your own and complete your relaxing and memorable day in port. Prepare for adventure, and maybe a bit of mud, on the Mahoney Lake UTV Offroad Safari, a thrilling excursion that is sure to delight.
