Departing from our base near the Seward airport, your journey begins with breathtaking aerial views of Resurrection Bay. As we soar over the rugged coastline, keep an eye out for moose, Dall sheep, black bears, and a variety of marine wildlife. After about 15 minutes, we reach the stunning Bear Glacier, known for its massive crevasses and an iceberg-filled lagoon that shimmers in shades of blue and white.
The most exciting part of your adventure is the Seward Bear Glacier Landing. Your helicopter will touch down on a remote Alaskan shoreline, where you’ll have 35 minutes to explore with your experienced pilot/guide. Hear the thunderous crack of the glacier calving into the water, walk along the untouched beach, and marvel at the towering icebergs floating nearby. This is a rare opportunity to experience the power and majesty of Alaska’s wilderness up close.
For the return flight, we stay low over Resurrection Bay, offering another chance to spot marine life enjoying the rich waters of this pristine ecosystem. This tour is accessible for guests with limited mobility, and we are happy to accommodate wheelchair users upon request.

What happens if the weather is too bad to fly?
The Seward area boasts one of the best climates in Alaska, making flights and dog sled tours rarely subject to cancelation. However, bad weather still happens, and it's impossible to predict when this will happen. If the pilots deem the weather too dangerous, we will do our utmost to reschedule your tour. If you're unwilling to reschedule or we can't find a suitable time, you'll be refunded.
