This tour does not include transportation. After a short walk to the helicopter base, your guides will run through a brief orientation and fit you with glacier overboots.
Loaded up into the helicopters, enjoy a breathtaking flight over Skagway & the surrounding landscape before landing on one of 3 glacier options, depending on conditions.
Land on Ferebee, Chilkat, or Meade Glacier to examine other-worldly glacier features with your pilot and guide as you hike around the massive river of ice.
At the conclusion of your tour, take time to return your gear, explore the gift shop, and use the facilities before your walk back to your cruise ship or into downtown Skagway.
On your return flight to Skagway, enjoy views of the Chilkat range and other surrounding glaciers, as well as glimpses of Lynn Canal, the Northern end of the Inside Passage.
