Description

The Yukon Suspension Bridge & Summit Tour is a must-see adventure, sure to become the highlight of your Alaskan journey! Offered by Alaska Shore Tours, this excursion begins with a guided exploration of Skagway's Historic District aboard a comfortable tour bus, accommodating no more than 32 passengers. Your expert guide will reveal why Skagway earned its reputation as "the toughest town on Earth" during the Klondike Gold Rush of 1897-99.

Traveling along the breathtaking Klondike Highway, you'll follow much of the historic White Pass Trail on your way to the 3,292-foot summit. This glacier-carved valley features towering waterfalls, awe-inspiring glaciers, majestic mountain views, and untouched wilderness. Upon reaching the summit, the tour continues into British Columbia’s dramatic Tormented Valley, a region that inspired literary giants like Robert Service and Jack London.

At the heart of this tour lies the unforgettable Yukon Suspension Bridge, where you’ll experience the thrill of walking high above the churning waters of the Tutshi River. Soak in stunning views while uncovering the rich history of the Klondike Gold Rush and the area’s unique natural wonders. The surrounding boardwalk invites you to admire alpine wildflowers in a serene mountain setting. Offered exclusively by Alaska Shore Tours, this excursion blends natural beauty and historical discovery.

Your journey includes multiple photo stops, ensuring you capture every spectacular moment of this adventure. As you return to your ship, you'll carry the memories of the Yukon Suspension Bridge & Summit Tour, a one-of-a-kind experience provided by Alaska Shore Tours, forever etched into your travel story.
